A note from the founder of Shen, Dr. Kirsten Kruse on the move to Edina and other exciting changes coming to the clinic.

The decision to update my treatment style and move Shen from Minneapolis to Edina arose from an emerging desire in my own life to align my clinical practice with my spiritual practice. A deep commitment to my spiritual path means that insights are not just gained on the meditation cushion, but practiced and integrated into my moment-to-moment lived experience. The changes coming to Shen are for me, where the cushion meets the treatment table.

The new location in Edina represents both a physical and energetic shift towards simplification in the clinic. There will be one cozy room, and I will treat only one patient at a time. This will not only make each appointment more efficient, it will allow me to give my undivided attention to each patient. This provides obvious practical benefits for the patient and at the same time promotes a spacious, mindful, and fluid container for the treatment.

The environment and container in which a treatment takes place guides the flow of healing and opens up possibility for benefits far beyond usual expectations. The energetic field is co-created between patient, practitioner, and the Universe around us. When we slow down enough to tap into this field, the potential that becomes available to us is unlimited.

I hope you will join us in this new space and be part of the unfolding of a new and wonderful era for Shen.

May you be well,

Dr. Kirsten Kruse, DCM, L.Ac.
